Conservation legend, entrepreneur, and seasoned executive Kristine Tompkins has dedicated her life to preserving our planet — and she's urging all of us to get involved. Kristine is bringing her passion and expertise to the Fall Festival stage.
About Kristine: Kristine McDivitt Tompkins is the cofounder and president of Tompkins Conservation. Along with her husband Douglas Tompkins, she helped to establish eleven national parks in Argentina and Chile, and continues to work in conservation, rewilding and marine protection in the Southern Cone. A former CEO of Patagonia, Inc, she chairs National Geographic Society's Last Wild Places campaign. In 2017 she received the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy and was named the UN Patron of Protected Areas in 2018.
