Don't Miss Out: HUBweek Forums

October 6, 2018
Bold thinkers will take Center Stage to explore the future being built across nine disciplines

Who has time to attend nine different industry conferences when you can attend one? The HUBweek Forums, a three-day ideas festival taking place Wednesday, October 10 through Friday, October 12 will arm you with insights into innovations that will directly affect the way we live, work, consume, create, and play. Hear from speakers at the forefront of their industries, and get tomorrow’s headlines, today — this year’s Forums feature leading minds in art, science, and technology sharing provocative ideas and their visions for the future. Interested? Grab an Insider or Concierge Pass to get in on the action.

Picture this: Start your day off at breakfast with engaging speakers and meet some fellow attendees. Next, head to Center Stage to hear from the thought leaders defining our future, from Amazon Robotics’ Chief Technologist Tye Brady and Former U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power to CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute Penny Heaton and New York Times Columnist Maureen Dowd. Later, join fellow attendees at an open bar networking happy hour, then dance the night away at the HUBweek Silent Disco.

On the docket for the Wednesday Forums: the future of health, wellness, and medicine. The morning will focus on the future of medical research and discoveries, while the afternoon sessions will cover the impacts of technology, music, and policy on our personal health and wellness.

Thursday’s Forums are all about the future of work, data, and robotics. Start the day exploring how artificial intelligence and data are shaping our culture—and how we are shaping them—and round out the afternoon with a dive deep into the future of robotics from leading experts.

Friday Forums tackle the future of cities, mobility, and energy. The morning sessions explore how technological advancements impact our lived reality on a micro and macro scale—from a global context to our streets and our homes—and the afternoon considers how we, in fostering greater innovation, balance multiple bottom lines: the economic, technological, environmental, and human.

The HUBweek Forums require an Insider Pass to HUBweek to attend. In addition to all the above, it also comes with an added bonus not to be forgotten: Your fellow attendees. HUBweek deliberately breaks down silos, bringing together people from 59 countries, 46 states, and industries from technology to education to healthcare. This year, nearly 40% of attendees are senior executives — CEOs, presidents, founders, and directors. We’ll be hosting some unique moments for Forums attendees to connect with fellow leaders, potential partners, investment opportunities, and up-and-coming talent during the festival.

Grab an Insider Day Pass for access to the day that’s most interesting to you. Can’t choose just one? Then the Insider or Concierge Pass is for you — they’ll give you access to every Forums session throughout HUBweek.
