What could be better than relaxing at home with a comfortable blanket, maybe a glass of wine, and a thoughtful podcast? Not much, I'd say. As many of us settle in for some well-deserved (albeit, compulsory) couch time at home, we've rounded up five of our favorite podcasts with female hosts for you to check out.
On Point - Here's a show for all you news lovers. Two amazing hosts, Meghna Chakrabarti and David Folkenflik, digest a variety of topics through news clips, lively discussions, and opportunities for listeners to call in. This is a great show for anyone who's trying to catch up on the latest stories while balancing kids, a household, and holding down a job in these unprecedented times.

On this podcast, host Kara Miller shares the stories of how inventions have come to fruition or are in the process of being made. Guests have even included HubWeek 2019 speaker and Harvard professor Michael Pollan. Some of my favorite episodes to start you off are The World Wide Web's World Wide Research and Reinventing Schools for an Era of Innovation.

Crime Junkie - This last podcast is one of my all-time favorites to binge when I'm looking for something to distract myself that also keeps me on my toes. Hosted by the dynamic pairing of Ashely Flowers and Brit, each week uncovers the facts of a true crime story, from murders to unsolved mysteries. If you are just starting to listen, I recommend either the INFAMOUS: The Preppy Murder or SERIAL KILLER: Charlie Brandt episodes.
